      Hello!
So I bought my love a nice Gaelic sterling silver ring. It’s gorgeous and the markings are tradition to symbolize “Warrior”. The issue is the markings on the ring are little individual protruding dots and these are VERY rough. They get caught on her clothes and have already ruined by ripping two shirts. I took it to a local jeweler and they put it in a tumbler to smooth it without having to shave it down and ruin the design. This still didn’t work for not catching clothes so she’s stopped wearing it as much 🙁 I was wondering if there was anything I could use (Resin?) to put a light coat that would cover those rough dots without looking cheap. I just fear that the Resin once painted on will pool to one side when the ring is put down to dry or simply leak off all together. Thoughts? Ideas? Please help!

      Hi Troy,

If you want to try resin as a coating, this is the one I would use: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession-crystal-doming-resin You will need to keep the ring moving while the resin cures, otherwise, it will pool or drip off.
