      Hi everyone!
I’m new at the resin art and I did 2 book covers using AB Resin. I left my resin in the mold for almost 48h.
After putting the book rings and pages between my 2 covers, I left my book open over other books on my desk.
The night passed and in the morning, my back cover had changed shape a little.
Is it normal? Will the resin still change shape even if it is fully cured or should I have waited even longer before adding the pages?

Thanks a lot for your help 🙂

      Hi Vanessa,

I’m not familiar with that resin, but some resins, even when fully cured, are soft and bendable. For mold projects like this, I like to use one of the Resin Obsession casting resins. They cure hard and don’t bend, even in thin layers.

For pours of 3 ounces or less, the Resin Obsession super clear resin is what you want:  https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession-super-clear-resin

For pours of 3 ounces or more, the Resin obsession deep pour casting resin works great:  https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession-deep-pour-resin
