I have seen beautiful countertops made from resin. However, does anyone know how much heat they can withstand? I am guessing you wouldn’t be able to place hot skillets or baking sheets on the acrylic surface. Perhaps they would be better suited for non-kitchen counters?

I agree. It only takes one brain fart of putting a hot pan on your resin countertops to give yourself a new weekend project.
