Hello, I have got an idea, but not too sure how well it would work. But the red section of this fairing from a motorbike, i’d like to put a thin layer of resin within this, with a little bit of white pigment in to diffuse the light, but not too much as to stop the red from being seen fully.

But still have maybe 2 yellow/orange led bulbs be seen flashing for indicators, needs to be bright enough to be seen in the day, has anyone seen this been done before?

See images in the link, and videos showing how bright the LED is and also kind of how it would look, but need to direct and diffuse the light more.

      Hi Martyn,

Is this motorbike meant for street use or decorative purposes?

      Hi Martyn,

Yes, you can use a bit of white pigment to make the color more opaque, but I worry about how sturdy the indicator is going to be. It’s not going to be as durable as a piece of plastic.
