I have some crafts I made out of air-dry clay that I coated with acrylic paint. I want to make the pieces more hardy and waterproof, and I was wondering if any sort of resin technique would work. Would painting it with regular resin or using the casting sealer work?

Hi Erica,

Provided your clay was free of bubbles, the Resin Obsession crystal doming resin will work well to seal it:

If you aren’t sure if it is free of bubbles, apply a couple of light layer of our resin gloss sealer spray first:
https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/castin-craft-gloss-resin-sealer-spray. That will seal in the bubbles before applying the resin.
