      Hello,
I’m wondering what are the effects of bad storage conditions on resin quality. i’m trying to identify the properties of a “bad” resin versus a “good” resin (meaning, variations on the quality of the exactly same resin).
Can anyone please explain what exactly happens to a resin that is badly stored? does it start to pre-cure? how does oxygen/moisture effect the resin?
asking about epoxies, phenolic and polyurethane resins specificly if that matters.

      Thanks!

      Hi Lior,

There’s a lot that goes when storing resins, especially when you are talking about different types. Most commonly, they yellow and some can even cure in the containers without being opened.
