I want to cast resin inside of a plastic container. Im afraid that when the resin cures, it will produce heat and melt the plastic. Is there anyway around this? The plastic is fairly thick, but if heated for a long period of time at a high temperature, it will most likely warp, which would be bad.

      Hi Ellie,

I’m afraid I don’t have good news for you. Heat production is the way resin cures. It doesn’t sound like two-part resins will work for your project.

You could try a UV resin. It might go easier on your plastic.
