Im trying to polyester resin a table top So Im starting
small, but I cant seem to get a smooth finish? Do u know what is causing it to
finish rough like this.

Hi Evan,

It’s normal when using polyester resin for the surface exposed to air to cure sticky and not look smooth.  To fix this, you will either need to sand down the surface or finish it with a layer of the resin gloss sealer spray.  https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/castin-craft-gloss-resin-sealer-spray
