I would really appreciate some advice, before taking the next step on my little project. I have a rose from my brothers funeral that I intend to suspend in a cube of resin. The rose is full dried (in silica) and I have poured the first layer of casting resin in the mould. So far, all good.
My next step is to introduce the now very brittle rose to the resin. Should I seal the rose first and if yes, using what? The rose is so dry and brittle the seal would have to be extremely lightweight…. Also, what is the best way to introduce the rose into the resin without it turning to dust?
Thanks all in advance for your advice – only have the one rose so don’t want to mess it up. 🙂
