I’ve been looking to create something like Peter Alexander’s Cloud Box. He briefly explained in a youtube video that he used colored dye for the clouds. However, since I am new to resin, I was wondering how exactly the technique would go to create those clouds. I love the wispiness of his clouds, and I assume it must be hard to create that effect. Thanks in advance for any help!
If I were going to try this, here’s what I would do:
1. Use one of our opaque white colors to make the resin translucent. You can buy the color here: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/liquid-colorants/opaque.
2. Then, mix a little at a time until you get your translucent effect.
3. Add the translucent white resin to the other resin when they both start to get thick.
