Hi,

I have used a crystal resin and a glazing resin and with both the finish has had a strange finish, I am getting a petrol style finish, like petrol on water (minus the colour)  I dont know what I am doing wrong but as it dries it leaves this weird pattern.

Im hoping you can help.

Would you happen to be blowing through a straw to remove bubbles?

No Ive not done that at all.  I dont know if its because Im not mixing it enough, mixing it too much or mixing it in the wrong sort of container??

What kind of container and utensils are you using to mix the resin?

Are you using the resin to cover paper? Sometimes the resin can react to the glue you use to seal the paper.
