GuestI’ve been looking into PoE for a while now, and it’s crazy how much it has evolved. A few years back, I set up a few PoE cameras at my office, and back then, the power limitations meant I couldn’t use some of the higher-end models. Now, with new PoE++ standards, I’m seeing people power full workstations, lighting systems, and even some industrial equipment. It makes me wonder—where is this tech heading next? Will we eventually see PoE replace traditional power sources for more devices?

GuestPoE has definitely come a long way. I remember setting up a VoIP system a while ago and thinking it was amazing to power phones through the same cable as data. Now, I’m helping with a smart building project where PoE is used for everything from security cameras to lighting. If you’re curious about how far an ong ethernet cable can go before losing efficiency, this guide is worth checking out. From what I’ve seen, as power output increases, we’re going to see more devices ditch traditional wiring completely.

GuestIt’s pretty wild how fast networking tech is evolving. I don’t work directly with PoE, but I’ve seen more and more businesses switching to it. Makes sense when you think about how much simpler it is compared to running separate power lines. Curious to see if this will start popping up in more homes too, especially with smart home devices getting more advanced
