So I bought the 1 gallon easycast resin kit recently and was wondering if it would be a good or bad idea to transfer the resin and hardener into smaller bottles, specifically I still have the empty bottles from previous orders of the 16oz kits for easycast.

I probably wouldnt because I always worry about water contamination in the bottles, especially towards the end (from condensation under the lid).
