I used your two-part resin successfully with 2 different molds and was very pleased with the outcome, BUT, the second time I used it, I guess I didn’t put enough of the hardener in? and the resin is still liquid. The one mold is easy access for demolding & cleaning, but the other mold, is a very small tear-shaped mold that has a small opening, making it much harder to demold. Being that they are both still liquid, how do I clean them once I get the resin out??

      Hi Robin,

Try putting the mold and resin in the freezer to see if that hardens it up some.

      Katherine,

I did place both molds into my freezer. The one I thought I was going to have trouble with, popped out easily and left no residue, for which I am grateful. The second one that I thought would be an EZ-PZ remove has been the biggest pain. It is a mold that produces tear-drop shaped jewels that popped out when I did cure the resin properly in my first attempt. Even with the freezing option, the resin refuses to come out. I have attempted to scoop it out with a spoon as the resin is behaving like a think sugar-like glue that is extremely sticky.

What can I do to remove all the resin and then clean up my mold to begin again? Should I use acetone? Or alcohol? Or is there no hope of reclaiming my mold?

      Thanks in advance

        Hi Robin,

I’m afraid at this point, the mold is ruined. 🙁
