Hello! I have a mold that is basically a tray of rectangles sized approximately 1”x3”. This size is pretty standard for my priests; however, once in a while I need a piece shorter than 3”. Is there any method anyone can suggest that I can use for my existing mold? Maybe a separator/divider of some sort? I just don’t know how I would go about making one, or what it would be made out of! I’d much rather find a way to use the existing mold than buy a new one since the need for pieces shorter than 3” is not that great.

Hi Michelle,

I would try to use wax blocks to take up space. Resin won’t stick to wax and provided the resin doesn’t get too hot, it shouldn’t melt the wax.
