I am creating an acrylic painting on primed wood using strips of paper to go under an ink-like coating of paint in some areas and glass shards to go over a thicker uneven area mixing acrylics with a medium. Can I use the epoxy to adhere the paper and the glass to the painted surface? Will it work on primed wood (of course I would wait for the paint to dry) TIA
Yes, you can use epoxy to glue the paper and glass to the surface of your wood. Yes, you will need to wait for the paint to dry. You will also want to seal your papers first with a clear drying glue, otherwise, the papers will take up moisture stains from the resin.
Good luck!
