GuestHello, friends! I recently came across the FitRoom technology, which offers virtual fitting of clothes using artificial intelligence. This is very interesting because it allows you to “try on” things without leaving home, which is convenient for those who cannot get to the store. However, I wonder how accurate this system is? Does it really help to avoid mistakes when choosing a size, or is it more of a marketing ploy? In general, how effective do you think this technology is for shopping in online stores? Maybe someone has already tried it and can share their experience?

GuestI have used Fit Room several times and I can say that this technology can really simplify the process of choosing clothes, but it is not perfect. In general, the system works on the basis of artificial intelligence, which analyzes data about your body (size, shape) and allows you to try on clothes in a virtual space. This process is based on how real clothes will look on a model similar to you, and this is a pretty convenient addition to online shopping. However, it is worth remembering that this technology has its limitations. First of all, the accuracy of images. When you try on clothes in a virtual space, it is important to understand that FitRoom creates an approximate model based on your parameters, but this does not always exactly correspond to how these clothes will sit on a real body. For example, clothes may look fine on a virtual model, but due to differences in materials or cut, they will sit differently on a real person. The second point is the fitting experience itself. Virtual fitting does not give you a sense of the fabric, how it will feel on the skin, or how it will behave in movement. This is especially important for certain types of clothing, such as clothing with certain textures, or for those who are very particular about fit and material. So if you’re looking for something basic, like t-shirts or lightweight jeans, FitRoom will be fairly accurate. But if you’re looking for complex, layered clothing, like jackets or suits, the system may not capture all the nuances.

GuestIndeed, an interesting topic! I have not tried FitRoom myself yet, but I think this technology has great potential. Especially for people who do not like to go shopping or cannot find time for it. Considering how artificial intelligence is developing, I think the accuracy of such systems will be significantly improved in the future.
