I have a 12 ft long book shelf that i built that i want to cover with a 12 ft long river table. Rather than build a mold for the table i want use the back and side wall and then once the “river” is filled with resin I want to use sheet plastic to allow the top coat to simply drip off the live edge off the wood in the front and open side. I plan to use white sheathing tape under and behind the river table but am concerned about how the sheet plastic will hold up with the overflow. Any suggestions or potential problems I haven”t considered?
