What can I use to prime wood canvases?

      This question comes from Scott:

      I’m making my own wood canvases, can i use Killz as the primer or I also have some deck stain could I use that?
      let me me know what I can use

      The Killz should be okay, but I wouldn’t use a deck stain. Those may contain oil which could affect the resin curing.
