Hello! This is my first time casting resin and I want to make sure I don’t have these issue again.
I used a clean silicon alphabet mould, it cured well but the sides of all the letters are all rough with visible streaks. Kind of looks like the sides have shrunk in causing lines to form. Why would this happen? How can I avoid this happening next time?

I‘ve used Protite casting resin.

I’m not familiar with that brand. Is it epoxy or polyester or something else?
