What type of resin should I use

      Hi, I am wanting to make center pieces and even gifts for my wedding out of crystal molds and flowers (possibly other types of molds and maybe glitter). I am a beginner and everywhere I read says I need to find the proper resin for my project, but I can not seem to find one. I want a clear look so that we can see the flowers. I have also thought about having a hollow mold and placing a small candel possibly battery operated, so what would be the best resin to work with for both solid and hollow molds. Ranging from jewelry size to about 6-7 inches tall or wide. Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I make my purchases.

      Hi Shyanne,

      It’s great that you are spending a lot of time on choosing the right resin. It will make sure you get the results you want!

      For what you want to do, you want to use a casting resin. They mix in a thinner consistency, making it easier to cast them in a mold.

      For pours of 3 ounces or less, the Resin Obsession super clear resin is what you want:

      Thank you Katherine for the link, I am also wanting to make breast milk jewelry will that resin work for it as well?
