I’ve recently gotten into historical romance novels, but the sheer number of books out there is overwhelming. I keep hearing about Bridgerton as a must-read series, but I’m not sure where to start. Should I read the books in order, or can I dive into any of them? Also, are they worth the hype?

Bridgerton is definitely worth checking out if you’re into historical romance. Each book focuses on a different sibling in the Bridgerton family, so while they can technically stand alone, reading them in order provides a richer experience since you’ll follow an overarching timeline and recurring characters. If you’re unsure about the hype or curious where to start, I’d suggest reading this great breakdown of the series at https://booksrun.com/blog/all-about-bridgerton-books/ . It explains each book’s plot and gives insights into why the series is so beloved. Plus, if you’ve seen the Netflix adaptation, the books offer even more depth to the stories.

One of the things I love about historical romance is how immersive it can be. Whether it’s the fashion, societal norms, or the drama, it’s like stepping into another world entirely.
