 Hi Katherine,

Im having a tough time with trying to put wood in polyester resin. 

Ive tried different types and cuts of wood and they all seem to have a similar effect. The air bubbles seem endless. 

Im sure that no matter how dry the wood seems, it will always retain some moisture. I assume this is the reason.

But is there a way around this? Maybe coating it? Or a method to completely dry it out first?

Hi Keir,

The wood is releasing bubbles into the resin. You will need to find a way to seal it first. I’ve heard the product ‘Cactus Juice’ mentioned for something like this.
