I currently have pebbles inside an unused fireplace in my living room. They cover the floor of the empty hole. My son will soon be crawling and I’d like to possible keep the pebble effect but I need to secure them in place. Would sinking them in epoxy resin work?

I don’t have enough depth to fully covered the pebbles, only partially.

      Any tips welcome!

Hi Alice, yes that will work fine. The epoxy won’t be ‘fire safe’ after this, so I would not use it for a burning wood again.

We have a similar discussion in the forum about using beads in resin that should be helpful to you: https://www.resinobsession.com/forums/topic/putting-beads-in-a-resin-tray
