I am very new to resin crafting. Currently I am in school in the Caribbean and I have a beautiful collection of shells, sea urchins, and sand dollars. I would like to resin the sand dollars and sea urchins to make things like Christmas ornaments, necklaces, etc. I have purchased your book and plan to read it and play with projects during my Christmas break but was wondering if you have any tips on how to resin sand dollars and sea urchins but not make it a bulky thing. I would like to make them hard but still look real (i.e., I dont want a coaster but want it hard to use). Thank you, Shannon

      Hi Shannon,

I would suggest using a doming resin to cover them.  If I were doing it, I would do one side, allow it to cure, then do the other.

We have several doming resins in our store here: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/doming
