      Hi!
I’ve just started to craft with resin and I have a few questions.
One of them is about taking my cured resin piece out of my mold, although I have not tried it yet (I want to gain some background information before trying). I purchased a rose mold (set of 3), and in the description, it suggested coating the inside of the mold with baby powder to help the resin come out once cured.
Should I just shake some baby powder in it? Should I try to spread it out evenly?
Because of the mold’s shape, I couldn’t see it if I were to coat the outermost petals in baby powder.
      Please give me some advice!
      Thank you!

      Hi Emilia,

When you dust it with baby powder, do it like you dust the inside of a cake pan before pouring batter. A light, even coat is all that you need. You can use a paintbrush to get the powder into the hard-to-reach cracks and crevices.
