Hi Emma,Yes, it should work, but this is a big project to take on for a first timer!  I would suggest using the Resin Obsession artwork resin for your project:  https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession-artwork-resin  It will finish in approximately a 1/16" layer and give a glossy finish.

      Hi,

I have never used resin before…..ever. Im a total newb.
I have just cut out a portrait using wood on my scroll saw. It is similar to the
picture below except mine does Not have the same edges along the side like
      the photo does.
Mines of Bob Marley, so the edges are pretty crazy full of curves and cuts
In the shape of his Afro.
      Mine is 2 layers only.
So I was wondering if I were to pour resin from the top layer, would it run
down the edges of top layer, coat the second layer then flow over the sides,
So the whole thing would have a even coat of epoxy resin?
Its a bit confusing and Im probably making no sense whatsoever…….
Any, dos, donts, or advice I will be excited to hear.
      Thanks 🙂
