      This question comes from Helen:

I would like to know if I can use resin (art resin) to pour over wood which has paper collage and a glass and wire sculpted piece glued to the wooden tray with gel medium. I want to pour the resin over the background but only partially cover the metal and glass. The glass is painted with glass paint and varnished with triple thick.
My previous “experiments” are standing on a base but this one I want to adhere to the tray and it will be a wall hanging.
Can I pour resin that will be in partial contact with glass, metal wire, and acrylic gel?
I know it must be difficult to visualize so I am including a photo of the pieces with the same wire and glass.
I appreciate any advice, thank you.

Yes, you can do this. Make sure the surface is free of any oils so that the resin can adhere properly.
