HI I am completely new to resin casting but I was wondering if you can put plastic spiders from the toy department in resin? My mold would be an ice cube tray. I have seen them like in novelty stores but I need to know if I was to do this and someone that it would be really funny to place the resin cast spider ice cube in someones soda how safe would it be or would it hurt the person? If it isnt safe for that then I would still make them but put magnets on the back so they would be able to put them on the fridge or there lockers at school. I hope someone can help me with this please.

Hi Bev,
Yes, plastic spiders will work well in resin. You could use the resin in a drink if the manufacturer says the cured resin is food safe.
