      Hi all,
I’m yet to start playing with resins but very keen to. I’m going to be starting small but already have a goal project in mind.

I eventually want to be able to make European/“murano” style beads with glitter or foil purely in the core (so its a backdrop kind of effect and the rest of the bead is clear to “place” things in). I’m not sure if that makes sense 🤔 I’m assuming I will need a silicone mold and to put the bezel/rivet in after the curing has completed. I’m wondering if I should be using a uv resin, mixing with the glitter, “painting” the core and curing, then pouring the rest?

If so can you mix resins? I’m not sure about the UV but I’m really keen on using ice resin 🙊

Any advice would be awesome pretty please.

I haven’t tried UV and epoxy resin in the same mold. I don’t know if that would work.
