The jellyfish need to be see throuh blue. What is the best way to do this? If I do a 2 inch pour and let it cure for 5 hours until it is sticky, can I put a stencil on it and paint the jelly fish on and then pour another layer of resin? Or can I paint the jelly fish on 4 mil mylar sheet and cut it out and lay it on the first pouring? Help

      Hi Mary,

You’ll definitely need to do this in two pours. This is the resin to use: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession-deep-pour-resin

If you want to stencil the resin, you’ll need it to fully cure. But, you should know you’ll see a line between your layers.

Otherwise, if you don’t want a line between layers, create your jellyfish on mylar and add that in once the resin is at the gel phase. That’s about 18 to 24 hours after pouring. This article explains more: https://resinobsession.com/resin-frequently-asked-questions/resin-gel-time/
