This question comes through email by Anshuman:

I am interested in making an impact absorbing structure for use in my college project. I wanted to know about the resin having the largest strength, and the corresponding strength value. So, kindly guide me regarding this matter. I will be highly grateful.

      Hi Anshuman,

I would suggest going with a polyurethane or polyester.  Without knowing exactly what youre going to be doing for a project, its hard for me to comment which would be better.  I will say though, that you should go into this with the thought that the resin is approximately the hardness of glass.  If you dont think glass would work, resin probably wouldnt either.

As for a specific product recommendation, I dont have one.  I would try searching for suppliers in your country and ask about those two types of resin.
