I am pouring black resin into a routed recess in a piece of wood. My resin seems to bleed into the adjacent wood grain around the recess that I am pouring resin into. How can I prevent this? I am going to finish the overall piece with Deft spray lacquer after everything is done.
I was thinking maybe I could spray a couple of initial coats on the entire piece including the recess to kind of “seal” the wood grain.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
