Hey, has anyone here ever been on a hot air balloon ride? I’ve always thought it would be cool but never got around to trying it. My friend went last year and couldn’t stop talking about how peaceful it was floating above the desert in the early morning. She said the sunrise view was unreal, and she didn’t feel scared at all despite not liking heights. I’m kind of tempted to book one, but still a bit hesitant. Any tips or experiences you guys could share?

Oh man, you should definitely go for it! I did one in Phoenix not too long ago, and it was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. The view of the desert from above is like nothing you can imagine – total peace, just you and the open sky. I’ve never been on a hot air balloon ride, but it sounds like a really unique way to see the landscape. I think it must feel so different compared to other types of tours, especially being up so high and in an open basket. It’s probably one of those experiences you have to try at least once in your life. I bet the sunrise would make it even more special. I imagine it’s super peaceful just drifting along with the wind up there.
