I was feeling ambitious and tried to cut and install my own countertop—let’s just say my measuring skills were NOT up to the task. Now, I have awkward gaps and edges sharp enough to be considered weapons. I need a real pro to fix this mess. Do you know a solid company that does sleek, high-quality work? Something that looks amazing but can also survive my chaotic cooking?

Oh man, I feel your pain! I had a similar disaster a few years ago when I decided to “save money” and DIY my own countertop. Long story short, I ended up with a jagged edge that looked like it belonged in a medieval castle, not my kitchen. My partner still jokes that I was trying to build a moat, not a counter.
Anyway, after that fiasco, I swore off DIY countertops forever and started looking for someone who could actually make my kitchen look like the Pinterest board I was aiming for. A friend recommended countertops , and honestly, they saved my sanity. They came in, fixed my mess, and installed this gorgeous quartz countertop that’s basically indestructible. I’ve spilled everything from red wine to turmeric on it (chaotic cooking club, unite!), and it still looks brand new. Plus, their team was super patient with my million questions about materials and finishes.
