Resin sphere

      Hi, i’m trying to make resin spheres with ice cube molds. My resin comes out in a matt finish due to the mold not being shiny. I know if you glaze with with more resin it becomes clear again, but every time i have tried this the resin pulls in areas on the spheres surface and becomes tacky. I have a polyurethane gloss that i use with polymer clay that some artists say you can glaze the resin with. Will the result differ depending on what i use, any help with the resin glazing?

      What kind/brand of resin are you using to glaze with?

      Is the polyurethane gloss a mixed resin or an aerosol spray?

      I’m surprised to hear You haven’t had luck with the Alumilite Amazing clear cast resin. I would expect it to work in this case. Instead of a polyurethane spray, I would recommend an acrylic spray instead.
