Bottle cap table leaking resin when top is hard

Hi,

My husband and I are making one of those beer bottle cap tables where he added a wood border. He sealed the seams with E6000 and let sit overnight. We have added 2 coats of resin and the top hardened as expected. The table still has to be stained at the bottom. Anyway there has been leakage around the corner seams and so much so it has dropped onto the plastic underneath. I removed all the sticky under it but am now at loss what to put on the seams to seal it since the E6000 didn’t work so well. Any suggestions how we can salvage this project? This is a good size table and a lot of money spent on resin.
