      This question comes from Jax:

I have a friend who makes a milk resin jewelry that I can’t figure out how she is doing it. It isn’t a mold, it’s thin. I’ve just been looking for hours and can’t find anything similar to what she is doing.

These are pieces were likely made while the pendant sat on a sticky surface. If I were to try this, I would us masking tape as the backing like shown in this tutorial: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-tutorials/resin-pendants-with-glass-beads

As for the resin and milk formula, I’m afraid I don’t have any experience with that. We have several other discussions in our forum about the topic. This one looks the most helpful: https://www.resinobsession.com/forums/topic/encasing-breast-milk-and-placenta-in-resin

Hi, Katherine, I can’t be completely sure but she might be using a cow milk powder and mixing it with resin. Those pieces look similar to pieces I make with colored cow milk powder (for making milk paint) I got from Hobby Lobby. I mixed the powder with the resin and got that opaque look.

What type of resin do you use? I would love to try and make breast milk jewelry!
