My mom was cleaning out a box of stuff in her attic, and found a bunch of mid- 90s plastic molds sold by CandleMagic. The molds have “Distlefink Designs” stamped on an edge, and they’re a rigid blue plastic. Most of them are shallow flat pieces, less than 1/2″ thick. I’ve tried googling to find out what kind of plastic they are, and have not had any luck.

Has anyone tried these with resin casting? I’m just starting to work with resin in molds, and I don’t want to ruin molds and waste resin if it won’t work. Thanks for any insight anyone can give me.

My mother had some of these. They are brittle and crack if bent.

The designs are gorgeous. They might work with clay.
