Do you know if the resins for artwork are different than regular epoxy resins made for repairs of boats and so? I especially was thinking about the risk that the painting will turn yellow or it will not become totally clear. Thank you for inspiring videos!
Resins for boats and such are generally polyester resins. These resins are not suitable for coating resin artwork as they are not self-leveling. They also tend to yellow quicker than epoxies. Epoxy resins work better for coating resin artwork.
