Hello all,
I’m looking to cast a piece of burnt/charred wood into resin, like the picture in this link:
https://www.google.ca/search?q=burnt+wood+in+resin&espv=2&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiZi4XP8dfSAhVD_4MKHRO0DdEQsAQIGQ&biw=1920&bih=984#imgrc=sLWAkqkQ2aNBlM:
my goal is to get this same silvery effect and minimum bubbles – some bubbles are cool but not too many that you can’t see the charred wood anymore.
is there something I can coat the wood in prior to casting that will seal the bubbles in? or is this even a problem?
also my wood block will be entirely burnt.
Thank you so much for your help and advice in advance! 🙂
