Glycerin in resin

      I found what I thought was a beautiful iridescent color paste and wanted to mix it in resin. A closer look at the label says it has polyvinyl alcohol and glycerin. Does anyone know if this is compatible with resin? Or would it just make a gooey mess?

      I don’t know Rhonda. If you try it in resin, would you let us know if it works?

      Well, I tried….. Whether it was the glycerin or one of the other components of the coloring, it reacted badly with the resin. I hardly started mixing the paste into the resin when it overheated and smoked like crazy! Also warped my plastic mixing cup and the stir stick. Another great idea ends up in the garbage! LOL!
