This question comes through email by Teresa:

I want to imbed glass shards in resin for a project.  Will the glass “disappear” in the resin or will it be visible?  Any suggestions on how to make the shards be more visible?  The shards are clear glass with tips of red.

      Teresa,

If your resin is clear, then no, you would not necessarily see the glass shards that well.  I would suggest either pouring in two layers – one with clear resin for your glass and a colored one behind it (Im guessing a white opaque).

You could also try embedding your glass shards in the resin then embedding something behind them, like a piece of art work or aluminum foil.
