My wife is an accomplished and talented artist. She typically takes a bit of artistic license and does not always follow instructions. So, I think I am going to take over the technical issues like pouring and doming and let her be the artist she is. We have been using Ice Resin and our results are mixed. While it is supposed to be doming, it gets really thin and we have issues with it including issues with bubbles. We have also had some issues with yellowing. We are using silicon molds and bezels currently. I think we need a true casting resin for the molds which Ice is not. But can I also using the doming resin after the molds are removed? In other words, can I have two different layers from different products.
Thanks!
Chris
