Bed post topper

      I’ve gotten all the supplies to make my….GIANT project….toppers for my 4 poster bed. Problem is…how do I make sure that there is a hole inside the mold so after it’s dry I can mount it. I assume I need a second something but what and how do I make sure I can get it out after?

      I read Saran Wrap won’t stick so 1 idea I was playing with was wrapping a pill bottle in Saran wrap and praying 🙏…..

      Any recommendations would be appreciated !

      Hi Leah,

      Have you considered drilling the resin once it’s cured?

      Hi Katherine,

      Unfortunately I don’t think I have A drill big enough to do that I suspected need a drill press and I live in an apartment sort of. That’s why I was trying to think of a way that I can put something in and take it out and have the resin go form around it and leave it off leave the hole when I take the item out.

        Hi Leah,

        Try jeweler’s wax (for wax carving). You may be able to get a rod large enough that will work.
