Resin and wax paper, large cast

So I am new to resin, and I am getting ready for my wedding. I thought “hey, I know something cool I could do with some clear resin and our sand ceremony (glass) vases. So I make a makeshift mold with some wax paper and wrap the bottom of the vases with the paper as well, put them into the large mold and pour in resin. Now, the resin somehow soaked through the paper and will not let the cases come out of the cast. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
