I am completely new to resin, I haven’t bought a kit or even began my project. Right now I have an idea of what I want to make but I don’t know anything about this subject or where to begin. I’m making my way through the blog and learning but I did have a question I’m not sure the blog will answer. Maybe it’s a silly question, but I found some rings I really liked and wanted to recreate and make my own. They are resin rings with gold flakes in them. The resin is not a completely clear color and it is not a completely solid color. I’d say it’s almost cloudy. I’m not sure if this link will work but I’ll leave it here anyways, https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pinterest.com/amp/pin/518406607077061925/ the best way to describe it is it’s almost opaque but you can still see through to the gold flakes on the inside. Any tips on how I can obtain that kind of coloring and the things I need to buy?

To make this, I would start with a transparent color, then add the tiniest bit of white to make it translucent. Next, mix in the gold flakes and cast the resin as desired.

We have lots of colors here:
